Graduado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (1993). Mestrado em Engenharia Metalúrgica pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (1996) e Doutorado em Sciences de l'Ingénieur Option Mécanique - Université Paul Verlaine Metz (2002). Professor Titular lotado no Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica (VEM) na Escola de Engenharia Metalúrgica Industrial de Volta Redonda (EEIMVR), Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). Tem experiência na área de Conformação Mecânica com ênfase em modelamento e simulação numérica por elementos finitos de processos de conformação plástica dos metais. Professor credenciado junto ao Programa de Pós-graduação em Engenharia Metalúrgica da Universidade Federal Fluminense.
